Boston and New York are Top Two Cities for Energy Efficiency
The American Council for an Energy-Efficiency Economy (ACEEE) has released its 2015 efficiency ratings of American cities and Boston maintains the top spot and New York moves to second place. Boston was the only city to score 80 points out of a possible 100. The other top ten cities are Washington, DC (#3), San Francisco (#4), Seattle (#5), Chicago (#6), Minneapolis (#7), Portland (#8), Austin (#9), and Denver (#10).
